National Geographic™ Critter Dome Hamster Cage Assembly Instructions

The National Geographic™ Critter Dome Hamster Cage is a PetsMart exclusive available only from them at this time. Critter Dome Hamster Cage is a suitable habitat for Hamsters, Mice, Gerbils, and other small critters. If you have purchased a Critter Dome these instructions should make assembly a snap, no tools are required.

The first step is to unpack your cage and using the parts list below check that all parts are there.Then proceed to step #1.
1) Slide wheel spoke through hole in base
2) Slide wheel clip over the wheel spoke inside of the base to lock wheel spoke in place.
3) Slide wheel over wheel spoke. 

Step 2
Insert tabs on shelf with opening into slots on larger side of base

Step 3
Insert tabs on hideout shelf into slots on smaller side of base.


Step 4
Connect shelves with long ramp. Slide the slot in the long ramp logs at each end onto the tabs located on the shelves to connect the upper shelf with opening to the lower hideout shelf.




Step 5
Attach short ramp onto short shelf so that it leads into the cage base.


Step 6
Place hideout on short shelf over recessed area. Attach the tab by the hideout entrance to shelf. Then attach tab by the water bottle holder to secure the hideout to the shelf.


Step 7
Place food dish into tall shelf by inserting into the hole provided. Next insert water bottle into hole/retainer on the side of the short shelf. Direct sipper tube so critters can easily access water.
TIP: Always fill the water bottle completely to reduce the risk of dripping/leaking.


Step 8
Place the cage wire on top of the base. Lock all 4 wire cage clips onto the cage base.

Your Critter's Home is now ready for "move in"
Cleaning Tip: To clean cage and accessories wash with mild soap and water. Thoroughly rinse and dry all parts before re-assembling.
