Putting your All Living Things Premium Ferret Starter Kit Together

Before you start assembling your new All Living Things Premium Ferret Starter Kit it is a good idea to lay out all the parts and make sure they are all there.  The graphic below will help you check.  Assembly is easy if you follow the instructions, no tools are needed. If you find there are parts missing contact the manufacturer's customer service department at 800 295-2243.

Step 1

Carefully unfold the front, back and side panels. If you find any of the panels have become stuck together, separate them by carefully moving the panels side to side to free them.

Step 2

Connect the front cage panel (panel with doorway) to the left side panel as shown. The "J" shaped wire hooks are specially designed to hook onto the side panel alternating the connection back and forth. Then the front panel and the side panel again to create a woven connection joint.
Repeat this connection between the remaining panels in each corner using the alternating "J" shaped hooks. We recommend starting by attaching the bottom "J" hook and move up and attach top "J" hook last.

Step 3

Insert the 4 casters firmly in the holes located in the bottom of the plastic base. Place the assembled wire top onto the base making sure the bottom of the wire panels rest securely along the top edge of the base.

 Step 4

Secure the top wire panels to the base using the 2 wire latches located on each end panel of the cage.
Attach the plastic ramps to the bottom side of each of the plastic shelves by snapping them into the plastic clips as shown in the picture below.

Step 5

Attach the plastic litter pan supports to the side panels by positioning the hook & bolt piece on the inside and then screw the knob on the outside, with the wire between them.
Hang the litter pan on the hooks and secure the knobs. The litter pan may be placed in any of the 4 corners of the cage.

Step 6

Place the assembled shelves and ramps in the cage through the door, Attach the lower shelf and the shorter ramp to the 5th wire up from the bottom on the left side of the cage.
Then attach the upper shelf with the longer ramp to the 13th wire down from the top on the right hand side of the cage.

Step 7

Attach the removable food dish to the wire panel with the twist-on screw lock.
Using the plastic clips attach the Hammock to the wire on the top panel of the cage towards the 4 corners on the cross wire as shown in the photo. Make sure your critter has easy access.
Step 8
Position the water bottle on the outside of the cage with the metal sipper tube inserting into the cage. Position the bottle at a level easily accessible for your critter. Wrap the spring hanger around the bottle and attach the clips to the cage wire approximately 2/3 of the way up the bottle.

Critter Care Tip:  Your Critter needs a constant supply of food and clean water as well as occasional treats. Provide your Critter with food and fresh water on a daily basis. When re-filling the water bottle, remove from the spring hanger and unscrew the cap and clean. Be sure to fill the bottle completely with fresh water and replace the cap. Please note a few drips are normal while the vacuum forms so the bottle will preform correctly.
