To Keep your hutch in tip top shape we suggest that you re-stain all the wood surfaces every year using a safe non-toxic water based stain (available at your local hardware store).
Always place you hutch in a sheltered area protected from temperature extremes and high winds.

Assembling your Backyard Charm Open Air Hutch
First, you will need a Phillips Screwdriver (power driver makes the job much faster), you may also want to have another person to help hold the parts in place while you assemble. The beauty of this product is you only need one tool to put it all together, a Phillips Screwdriver.Make sure you have all the parts as laid out below:

Assembly Step 1
Assemble the run portion by attaching the Pen door to the upper and lower mesh side panels using 12 of the 2" Screws (A). Secure Top Panels with 1 of the 1-3/8" Screws (B).Assembly Step 2
Assemble the wood portion of the Hutch by attaching the Pen Nest Box Panel to the Lower Mesh Side Panel, the Rooftop Right, the Lower Wood, the Mesh Side Panel, and the Inside Wall using 10 of the 2" Screws (A).Assembly Step 3
Connect the run portion that you have already assembled to the wood portion using 6 of the 2" Screws (A).
Assembly Step 4
Assemble the Nest Box Front and Side Panels with 4 of the 1-3/8" Screws (B). Attach to the Hutch assembly using 4 of the Nuts & Bolts (E). Slide the Nest Box Floor into place. Slide the Nest Box Divider down into position.
Assembly Step 5
Place the Floor Support Beam tint the notches on the base of the run. Slide the Pull Pan into the wooden section of the Hutch. Lower the 3 Roosts into the Hutch area and place in slots on the Hutch walls.
Assembly Step 6
Secure Nest Box Roof Panel onto Nest Box with 4 of the 3/4" Screws (D). Place the Ladder inside the run and attach with hooks and eyes.
Assembly Step 7
Attach the Short Ridge Cap on the top of the wooden Hutch Section with 2 of the 1" Screws (C).
Attach the Long Ridge Cap on top of the Run Section wit 6 of the 1" Screws (C). Slide the hinged Rooftop Left Panel onto the Hutch assembly.
Assembly Step 8
Attach the 4 Handles using 4 of the 1" Screws (C) for each handle.
