ChickenWare Little Red Hen Barn by Ware Mfg. Assembly Instructions

To Keep your hutch in tip top shape we suggest that you re-stain all the wood surfaces every year using a  safe non-toxic water based stain (available at your local hardware store).

Always place you hutch in a sheltered area protected from temperature extremes and high winds.

Assembling your Little Red Hen Barn & Pen

First, you will need a Phillips Screwdriver (power driver makes the job much faster), you may also want to have another person to help hold the parts in place while you assemble. The beauty of this product is you only need one tool to put it all together, a Phillips Screwdriver.

Make sure you have all the parts as laid out below:

Check that you have everything together. If you find a part is missing, please call Ware Mfg. customer service department at 1 800 295-2243 M-F 8am to 4pm MST they will take care of any missing parts issues.

Step 1

Connect the Front, Back, Left, and Right Side Hutch Panels using 8 of the 2" Screws (A). Next lower the 4 Roosts into the Hutch assembly.

 Step 2

Attach the Rooftop Panels using 8 of the 1" Screws (B) to the Hutch Body assembly. Attach the Ridge Cap using 4 of the 1" Screws (D).

Step 3

Assemble the Gable by attaching the 2 Gable Walls to the Gable Window panel using 4 of the 1" (E). Secure the Gable to the Hutch Roof using 4 of the 1-1/2" (C) Screws to attach the Gable Walls to the Rooftop.

Step 4

Attach the Gable Roof Panels to the Gabble Window panel using 2 of the 1" Screws (E). Slide the Pull Pan into the bottom of the Hutch body.

Step 5

Attach gable Ridge Cap to the Gable Roof assembly using 4 of the 1" Screws (E). Place the Nest Box Divider into the Nest Box and place the Nest Box inside the Hutch assembly.

Step 6

Make sure you have all the parts as laid out below for your Little Red Barn Pen:











Step 1

Connect the three Pen Panels and the Baseboard using 6 of the 1" Screws (F).

 Step 2

Secure the Pen Rooftop Panel using 4 of the 1" Screws (F).

Step 3

Attach The locking Latches to each side of the Hutch and Pen assembly using 4 of the 2" Screws (A) for each Latch assembly. Latch the Pen to the Hutch to complete the assembly.
*Please note disconnect Pen from the Hutch before attempting to move your Hutch.*

  2. This is a good thing to share the instructions onlinr. I think all the brands should follow this so that it could make it easier for the users to install amd use any product they have purchased but missed the instructions handout.
