Putting your Premium Plus Hen Hut with Yard Together
Before you start assembling your new Hen Hut, it is a good idea to lay out all the parts and make sure they are all there. The graphic below will help you check. Assembly is easy, just follow the instructions, its a Snap. If you find there are parts missing contact the manufacturer's customer service department at 800 295-2243.
Step 1
Connect the Front Panel and the Back Panel to the Side Panels using eight 2 3/8" Bolts & Nuts (A). Insert the two piece Floor Panel into the assembled Hutch. Position the Indoor Roost inside.
Step 2
Attach roof to assembled Hutch by sliding the two hinge parts together as shown inside. Secure with two 1" screws (C). Attach the locking Roof Support using four 5/8" screws (D). Place the Removable Nesting Box Door in place on the Back Panel and lock the latch to close. TIP: This Door can be removed to allow addition of the Ware Premium Plus Universal Chicken Nesting Box (Item #01475).
Step 3
Attach the Right Side Pen Wall and the Left Side Pen Wall to the front of the Hutch and attach the Front Pen Wall using eight 1 3/4" screws (B). Attach the Outdoor Roost to the side pen walls.
Step 4
Attach the Hinged Pen Roof to the assembled pen using two 1 3/4" screws (B). Close Latch to secure the top of the pen.
Care Tip
To protect the wood on your hutch, you need to re-apply the protective stain finish at least once each year. Use a safe and non-toxic water based stain (available at your local paint or hardware center). Keep hutch in a safe area away from high winds and extreme temperatures.
