Putting your Guinea Pig Cage Together
Before you start assembling your new Naturals Guinea Pig Cage, it is a good idea to lay out all the parts and make sure they are all there. The graphic below will help you check. Assembly is easy, just follow the instructions, its a Snap. If you find there are parts missing contact the manufacturer's customer service department at 800 295-2243.Step 1
Place the wire panels on a flat surface with the door facing up. Unfold the front, back, and side panels.
Step 2
Connect the front cage panel (includes doorway) to the left side panel as shown. The "J" shaped wire hooks are specially designed to hook onto the side panel alternating the connection back and forth. Then connect the front panel and side panel again to create a woven connection joint.
Repeat this connection between the remaining panels in each corner using the alternating "J" shaped hook.
TIP: Start by attaching the bottom "J" hook and work your way up, attaching the top "J" hook last.
Step 3
Slide the wood ramp through the hole in the wood shelf. Then attach the assembled shelf and ramp to the third wire from the bottom on the left side of the cage. Be sure to attach the assembled shelf and ramp to the wire cage before securing the wire frame to the pan.
Step 4
Place the assembled wire top with the shelf and ramp onto the base, making sure the bottom of the wire panels rest securely along the top edge of the base. Secure the wire panels to the base using the wire latch located on each side.
Step 5
Attach the hay manger to the wire on one of the short sides of the cage. Do this by inserting the bottom edge of the manger above the second wire from the bottom and positioning the vertical wire to be in the center of the slot in the manger. Then attach the two hooks on top of the manger to the & the wire up from the bottom
