Putting your Luxury Rat Pet Home Together

Before you start assembling your new All Living Things Luxury Rat Pet Home it is a good idea to lay out all the parts and make sure they are all there.  The graphic below will help you check.  Assembly is easy if you follow the instructions, there are no tools needed to assemble this habitat. If you find there are parts missing contact the manufacturer's customer service department (Ware Mfg.) at 800 295-2243.


Step 1

Carefully unfold the front, back, and side panels and lay flat.
**If any of the panels become stuck together separate them by carefully moving the panels side to side to free them**

Step 2

Connect the front cage panel (includes doorway) to the left side panel as shown. The "J" shaped wire hooks are specially designed to hook onto the side panel alternating the connection back and forth. The follow the same steps with the front and right side panels to create a woven connection joint. Repeat at each corner until all 4 corners are securely woven.
**Start by attaching the bottom "J" hook and move and attach the top "J" hook last** 

Step 3

Insert the 4 casters firmly in the holes located in the bottom of the plastic base.
Place the assembled wire top onto the base making sure the bottom of the wire panels rest securely along the top edge of the base.

Step 4

1) Place the Exercise Wheel in the base before attaching the top wire assembly.
2) Secure the top wire panels to the base using the 2 wire latches located on each side.
3) hang the wire Exercise Wheel inside the cage on the left side panel. attach the wire hooks on the 16th wire up from the bottom.

Step 5

1) Attach the plastic ramps to the bottom side of each of the plastic shelves by snapping them into the plastic clips.
2) Place the assembled shelves and ramps in the cage through the door. Attach the lower shelf and shorter ramp to the 7th wire up from the bottom on the right side of the cage.

Step 6

1) Attach the middle shelf with the longer ramp above the Exercise Wheel to the 21st wire up from the bottom on the left side of the cage.
2) Attach the upper shelf with the longer ramp to the 18th wire down from the top on the right side of the cage.

Steps 7 & 8

7) Using the plastic clips, attach the hammock to the wire on the top panel of the cage in the 4 corners. Place the Food Bowl on the raised portion of the shelf.  Make sure your Pet has easy access.
8) Position the water bottle on the outside of the cage with the metal sipper tube inserted through the cage wire. Position the bottle at a level easily accessible for your Pet. Wrap the spring holder around the bottle and attach the clips to the cage wire. Add some bedding, food, and chew toys and your Critter's new home is ready for move in.
