Assembling the You & Me Rat Manor

One of the best things about this cage is that no tools are needed for assembly.

Make sure you have all the parts as listed:

Step 1

Place the Wire Cage on a flat surface and carefully unfold all of the panels as shown in the image .

 Step 2

Connect the bi-folded front cage panel (the one with the doorway) to the left bi-folded side panel as shown. The "J" shaped wire hooks are specially designed to hook onto the side panel again to create a woven connection joint.

 Step 3

Next connect the bi-folded back panel to the left side panel by attaching the alternating "J" shaped wire hooks.

 Step 4

4A) Repeat the above steps to connect the back panel and the right side panel using the alternating "J" shaped hooks.  **Start by attaching the bottom "J" shaped hook and move up the cage attaching the top hook last**
4B) Repeat the connection of alternating "J" shaped hooks between the right side panel and the front panel.

 Step 5

The Wire Mesh Center Floor (16"x 22") must be turned upside down with the hooks facing upwards (see insert 5A). The opening in the Wire Mesh Center Floor is directed to the back panel of the cage (see inset 5B).

The wire hooks on the front of the Wire Mesh Center Floor are inserted between wire #1 and wire #2 and attached directly to wire #1 on the front panel of the partly assembled Cage Set (see inset 5C).

Next attach the Wire Mesh Center Floor to the back panel (with no door openings) by inserting the wire hooks between wire #1 and wire #2. Connect the center floor directly ti wire #1.

 Step 6

6A) Fold up front wire panel (the one with the doorway) and left side panel. Connect the front panel to the side panel by attaching "J" shaped hooks.
6B) Repeat the attachment step for the left side panel and back panel.
6C) Repeat the attachment step for the back panel and right side panel.
6D) Repeat the attachment step for the side panel and front panel.
**Start by attaching the bottom "J" shaped hook and move up the cage attaching the top hook last**
6E) When the above steps are completed turn the cage body right side up and mount in the cage pan.
