Putting your Large Critter Home Together
Before you start assembling your new Critter Home, it is a good idea to lay out all the parts and make sure they are all there. The graphic below will help you check. Assembly is easy, just follow the instructions, its a Snap. If you find there are parts missing contact the manufacturer's customer service department at 800 295-2243.
Step 1
Carefully unfold the front, back and side panels. TIP: If any panels have become stuck together, separate them by carefully moving the panels side to side to free them.
Step 2
Connect the panels together using the "J" shaped wire hooks. These hooks are specially designed to create a woven connection joint. Start at the bottom and alternate hooks as you weave the wire connection. Repeat this step for each cage corner. Connect the hooks on each of the four sides.
Step 3
Assemble the outer wood base by sliding the flanges on the two long panels into the slots on the two short panels making a box platform. Place the plastic base into the top of the assembled wood base.
Step 4
Place the assembled wire top onto the base making sure the bottom of the wire panels rest securely along the top edge of the base. Secure the top wire panels to the base using the 2 wire latches located on each side.
Step 5
To attach the wood shelf to the ramp, first slide the wood peg on the right side of the ramp into the round slot, which is spring loaded. Next, slide the left peg into the left side of the ramp.
Step 6
Place the assembled shelf and ramp in the cage through the door. Attach the shelf and ramp assembly to the 15th wire up from the bottom on the right side of the cage. Then attach the other assembled shelf and ramp in the cage to the 21st wire down from the top on the left side.
Step 7
Attach the wood ledge to the back panel between the 18th and 19th wires up from the top. Place a washer on each side of the wire panel and tighten with the wing nut on the outside.
Step 8
Place the wood hut on the shelf, and the natural ball in the cage. Now your pet is ready to enjoy its new home!
